Expert analysis
Doctors have described as methanol poisoning in the sprit which is referred to as one of the source of the deaths of more than 10 people who have been abused, usually poisonous in the human body.
"The combination they make makes many things more harmful to the human body than the common alcohol that we know," said the Muhimbili (MNH) National Doctor of Diseases and Nutrition Centers (MNH), Awards Lyuu.
"But sometimes it's in that 'process' to make that drink ... we know there are different temperatures in manufacturing and collecting the products that are made.
He said the poisoning has a serious effect on the human body, since it may directly affect certain ingredients, especially the eyes and the brain.
