President Kenyatta has accepted $120 million to be used for election




Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has approved a small budget bill that has allocated 12 Kshs billion ($ 120 million) to be used by the Commission on Electoral Affairs in the new general elections on 26 October.

Likewise, the isolation of Kshs 25 billion was spent to fund a secondary education program free of charge that President Kenyatta had promised in a campaign that would be implemented in January next year.

In addition, there are Kshs 6.7 billion to finance the purchase of maize to ensure the sale of cheaper flour.

The 70-year-olds have been awarded Kshs 6.7 billion under the Community Inventory plan who pay monthly payments to help them live longer.

Security departments have been allocated Kshs 4 billion to the approved subsidiary budget.

The government has also allocated Kshs 3.9 billion to deal with drought effects.
