President John Magufuli appointed former Secretary of State, Dr Thomas Kashilillah as Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, while former Inspector General of the Police (IGP), Ernest Mangu was appointed ambassador.
Dr Kashilillah has been appointed approximately three weeks after he was removed from the position of the Secretary of Parliament, a position taken by Stephen Kigaigai.
President Magufuli May 28 ,2017 dismissed the appointment of my IGP and appointed Simon Sirro to hold the position.
Here he is scheduled for a work center with former Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Dr Aziz Mountains.
President Magufuli's election, announced on Thursday, October 26, 2013 by the Secretary-General, John Kijazi, also referred to the deputy secretaries, the deputy secretary general and the regional authorities who will be finalized on October 27, 2011, at the capital in Dar es Salaam on Friday.
Ambassador Kijaz said President Magufuli has appointed seven deputy secretary general secretaries and promoted deputy chief secretaries to be chief secretaries in some ministries.
He has also transferred four chief secretaries and deputy deputy secretary to another ministry.
Ambassador Kijazi said in positions of regional authorities, President Magufuli has appointed six regions, among whom he has served as a minister in the past regime of President Jakaya Kikwete, Adam Malima who goes to Mara Region.
Arumeru District Head, Alexander Mnyeti has been promoted to the Head of the Manyara Region.
Ambassador Kijazi said senior deputies were retired from Joel Flag (Manyara), Major General Retired Ezekiel Kyunga (Geita) and High Commissioner Assistant Commissioner Zelothe Stephen (Rukwa).
The deputy head of the region were Mtwara, Halima Dendego, Jordan Rugimbana (Dodoma) and Dr Charles Mlingwa (Mara).
According to Nanyumbu District District, Joackim Wagambo was appointed Rukwa Regional Head, Korogwe District Head, Robert Gabriel has become Geita Regional Head and Dodoma District Head, Christine Mndeme as the head of the region.
Galesius Byakanwa, former District Head of Hai, was appointed Mtwara Regional Head.
