Student's Pregnancy Appeals to the High Court

The Ihulike Village Executive Officer in Bukombe District, Lucas Maganga, has been filed in a district court for corruption suspicion.
As he read the case last weekend before the Court's Deputy Judge Gabriel Kurwijila, the prosecutors of the Takukuru district commissioner, Kelvin Murusuri, claimed Maganga's crime in July on dates and times.
He claimed that after the defendant received a 7-year-old pupil report at Uhulike Primary School, he met two girls on the side of the girl and the boy giving her pregnancy and then persuading them to get acquainted.
He continued to tell the court that after the influence, Stephano Maliyatabu, who is a boy's boy, gave Sh950,000, and the executive was awarded Sh450,000 and the other was given to the girl's father. However, the defendant pleaded guilty to the charges and the prosecution claimed that the investigation had been completed. The defendant missed two sponsors who had to sign up a Sh3 million deposit and thus no guarantee. The case was postponed until October 12.
