The United Nations wants 30 opposition leaders to be released from DRC



Members of the two Union for Democracy parties and their social Progress counterparts were arrested on Sunday in Lubumbashi, south of the country, after the police broke their meeting.
President Kabila has banned any political meeting, including opposition protests, since his term of office as president, ended a year ago.

The electoral commission in the country, said it would not be easy to prepare the presidential elections, before April 2019.
Another opposition party- Union for the Congolese Nation, said that it would not eliminate the government's power sharing system, in connection with the delays of the general elections.
Regular opposition protests in the country have been severely influenced by President Joseph Kabila's rule.
