Minister Mwakyembe has turned to the media


 Minister of Information, Culture, Art and Sports, Harrison Mwakyembe said the Government recognizes the right of media to criticize, discuss and analyze various issues.
However, he said not to limit the limits and to endanger the national interests in his work.
Dr Mwakyembe said today on Wednesday, October 25, 2011, one day after the government closed the Tanzanian newspaper.
He said in a meeting with religious leaders of the church that discussed issues of peace and patriotism towards the industrial economy.
Dr Mwakyembe said the government recognizes the freedom of the media but has asked its owners and writers to fully understand the rules and provisions of the Constitution to protect the national interests in the reporting process.
He said Article 18 of the Constitution of the United Republic provides the right to freedom of mind, but Article 30 limits the rights and freedoms.
Minister Mwakyembe said in reaching the media industry media is important to convey information.
He urged reporters to consider the needle so that the nation could continue in various sectors and reach the central economy.
The Dar es Salaam Regional Sheikh, Alhad Mussa Salum, said Tanzanians should be patriots for their country's sake and to reject all the issues that threaten peace.
"Scholars and leaders are their time to criticize evil, including corruption and corruption because doing so is one way to love the country and to safeguard it," he said.
